Shen Yun — the globe's leading cultural dance company — has finalized this season's timetable of programs connecting dozens of North America’s most prestigious stadiums, including the Benedum Center on Sunday 27th April 2025!

Before the period of Communist rule, FIVE THOUSAND years of legends, arts, and culture flourished in every curve of the Chinese mainland, and year after year, the New York City-based Shen Yun revives these perennial treasures for everyone to admire! 2025 is no exception.

Heavenly gods marching across the earth. Vast fields of grass streaked by hordes of Mongolian nomads. And battleground heroics of dauntless soldiers. Shen Yun’s seasonal exhibitions center around the many myths and epics that transcended the nation's dynasties, creatively illustrating their romances and tragedies with aspects from Buddhist and Taoist creeds to complete each story.

The forthcoming production will feature twenty narrative sections of otherworldly performances in roughly two hours. Classically trained dancers decked in delightfully colorful costumes will glide to the floor, chronicling the event’s sagas with 17 to 18 complex ethnic dance pieces. Additionally, 2 or 3 instrumental and vocal solos will punctuate these phases with soaring harmonies — both original and traditional.

A full-piece band will play rousing music throughout the show, inventively incorporating Chinese and Western instruments. In regard to staging, Shen Yun employs a cutting-edge virtual backdrop to render life-like scenes, pulling audiences into the world of ancient Chinese civilizations in a spectacular fashion.

During the run's pit stop in Pennsylvania's city of Pittsburgh, the world-class Benedum Center will serve as host. Its gorgeous stage, favored by dozens of the past year’s hottest artists, will lay the base for the breathtaking show, further enhancing it with splendid vantage points, dynamic lighting, and pitch-perfect acoustics.
