Shen Yun — the globe's leading dance institution — has confirmed this season's timetable of programs throughout many of the United States' most esteemed stadiums, which includes the Benedum Center on Saturday 26th April 2025!

Before the period of Communist reign, FIVE MILLENNIA of legends, arts, and culture thrived in every corner of China's mainland, and year in and year out, the NYC-founded Shen Yun breathes life into these enduring treasures for all to admire! This year will be the same.

Heavenly gods walking across the country. Infinite grasslands streaked by nomadic hordes of Mongols. And battleground heroism of fearless warriors. Shen Yun’s annual shows explore the many myths and epics that transcended Chinese empires, imaginatively portraying their romances and tragedies with principles from Taoist and Buddhist beliefs to complete each story.

The upcoming production will exhibit twenty narrative sections of unbelievable performances in about two hours. Professionally trained dancers decked in delightfully decorated costumes will take to the floor, narrating the show’s sagas with 17 or 18 complex ethnic dance pieces. In addition, 2 or 3 instrumental and vocal solos will accentuate these episodes with soaring symphonies — both traditional and original.

A full-piece orchestral ensemble will play rousing music throughout the event, inventively incorporating Western and Chinese instruments. In regard to stagecraft, Shen Yun makes use of a state-of-the-art digital background to render animated scenarios, pulling audiences into the expanse of China before Communism in a sensational fashion.

For the run's stop in Pennsylvania's city of Pittsburgh, the world-class Benedum Center will serve as host.
